The authorities of University of Uyo has appointed
Prof. Enefiok Essien as the new Vice Chancellor
of the institution.
This was contained in a statement issued on
Monday signed by the Registrar, Mrs Edak
Umondak.
According to the statement the appointment takes
effect from December, 2015.
Enefiok Essien who is a professor of Commercial
Law, a two-time Dean, Faculty of Law, and
Chairman, Committee of Deans, UNIUYO will take
over from Prof. Comfort Ekpo, whose tenure ends
November 2015.

UNILAG Admission Into Diploma In Human Kinetics And Health Education 2015/2016
The Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, University of Lagos in
collaboration with Human Resources Development Centre is requesting qualified
candidates to apply for admission into its two-year part-time programme for active
sportsmen and women leading to the Award of the Diploma in Human Kinetics and
Health Education.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) Credits in West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE), NECO or GCE
O/L which must include Mathematics, English Language, Biology and any other Science
subject at one sitting.
Coaching Grade III Certificate or Diploma obtained from National Institute of Sports.
Duration: Two (2) Academic Sessions
Date of Qualifying Examination & Interview:Sat, 14th Nov. 2015.
Fees: N73,000.00 per session
Course Materials: N5,000.00 Venue: Sports Centre, UNILAG
Time: 8.00am
Lecture Commences: 30th November, 2015
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Applicants are expected to visit the HRDC portal: http//:hrdc.unilag.edu.ng to fill the
pre- application form. (Contents of the pre-application form include surname, first name,
middle name, e-mail address and mobile number). Upon successful completion of the
pre-application form, the applicant will be issued a Payment Reference Number which
should be printed out.
Applicants should take their printout containing the payment reference number to any of
the HRDC application fee collecting banks (Ecobank, Access Bank, First Bank and Wema
Bank) on the University campus to make payment. (Application Fee N7,500.00).
After payment, applicants should return to the payment portal, click the application form
link and login with the payment Reference Number and surname (in lower case and
strictly as provided in the pre-application form) as password to access the application
form.
N.B: Kindly note the following
Only application payment that the bank has confirmed receipt of, will have access to the
application form. Applicants who experience challenges may return to the bank where
payment was made to request that their payment be posted. (Notification of payment
receipt shall be sent to applicants who have paid).
The password will be as provided in the Surname field in lower case; errors in filling of
surname must therefore be reflected in the password used.
After completion of application form, printed copies should be submitted at the HRDC
Secretariat with the following documents not later than Friday 13th November, 2015.
- Original printout and a photocopy
- Two (2) photocopies of Birth Certificate
- Two (2) photocopies of Reference Number printout
- Two (2) photocopies of N7,500.00 teller
- Two (2) photocopies of Credentials
Letters of Admission will not be posted to individual candidates. The admission list will
be available on Human Resources Development Centre portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng ) and
University of Lagos website (http//:www.unilag.edu.ng )
FUOYE Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure 2015/2016
The management of the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti has released guidelines for the payment of 2015/2016 acceptance fee. Procedure For Payment Of Acceptance Fees i) All admitted candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty thousand Naira (N30, 000.00) only. ii) Candidates should purchase a bank draft or certified cheque of the sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30, 000.00) only at any bank in favour of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE). Thereafter, they are required to submit the certified bank draft with their Jamb reg. Number written at the reverse side. Deadline for submission of Bank Draft: a. Candidates are required to submit the certified bank draft at the Revenue Unit, Bursary Department and obtain University receipt to be submitted to Academic Affairs Division on or before Friday, 6th November, 2015. b. Please note that any candidate who fails to submit the bank draft within the stipulated period should consider the admission forfeited. c. Candidates should visit the University website for information relating to resumption date, fees payable by fresh students, procedure for registration, etc.
